Linear systems. Stationary and ergodicity in earth sciences. Filtering and filters in earth sciences. The prediction problems in earth sciences.

Study on local, regional and global seismicity, and the nature of earthquake generation. Observational, statistical and theoretical studies of seismicity. Modeling of earthquake processes. The other features of earthquake generation with emphasis on earthquake prediction.
